Don't forget to click on the links aswell to see what my other very talented team mates have come up with too ... there is so much inspiration out there and I am honoured to be working alongside such talented creative people aswell as working with great companies and products!
This is the work I have created for
The lovely Beverley Fletcher who owns Banana Frog invited me to be a guest designer for her in June 2009. Following my 2 guest spots she invited me to become a fully fledged froglet, design team member! I love all the stamps I get to play with, the designs are yummy and I have so many ideas for the stamping schools I post on the 11th and 23rd of each month as well as the colour focus challenge all the froglets play along with each month. Go and check out the blog and be inspired, but first here's my work so far from the lilly pad. I will give a brief description with each piece but if you click on the link of the logo above you will see step by step photos and instructions on the frog blog.
Diamonds and pearls mirror
This is an altered wooden mirror frame that I used a poor mans crackle technique on and then stamped into to create the white and pink pattern. I added music paper covered with glimmer mist, lots of yummy prima embellies, lace, charms and pearls from my stash and the stamped alphabet is glittered and painted with nail varnish. Frog blog link

You Spin me right round
A double LO documenting the day I realised life goes full circle walking round clothes shops with my niece seeing my youth staring back at me, those fabulous 80's! I've used Sultane paper and BF round in circles stamps with neon glitter to echo the shapes. The smiley faces are stamped and glossed, the title is stamped on to acetate and I made journalling blocks by cutting round stamped circles. Frog blog link
Mardi Gras masquerade
A very simple but effective project. I bought 2 blank masks from a fancy dress shp and set to with my frog stamps. Because they are acrylic they are malleable so without an acrylic block on them I was able to stamp around the curves of the masks. I added glitter, sequins, gems and feathers and made and stamped the crown with the bells on! Frog blog link
A Passion for Fashion
My sister sent me this funky mobile phone photo of my niece on a trip to the post office she is such a fashionista! I wanted the papers to match the photo in pattern and colour so I decided to stamp some 'plain' BG paper to achieve the effects I wanted. I also triple embossed the diamond accents down the page. Some stamping to cover up unwanted areas of the photo, some different textures of materials and buttons aswell as some prima bling finished off the feel of the LO. Frog Blog link
Diamonds are forever
The same title as the name of one of the stamp sets I used for this project. I was thrilled with how realistic these 'diamonds' came out. They are shrink plastic! I stamped silver diamond shapes cut them out and shrunk them and while the plastic was still hot stamped into them with a stamp from it's all about circles to create the texture. A few jump rings and a cheap chain et voila some bespoke jewellery. Frog blog link
My best friend
A reverse canvas with a stamped acetate cover. Because the frame is reversed I was able to build up a 3D collage inside. The acetate has been stamped, flipped, alcohol ink applied to the back and then glitter to pick out the shapes of the stamps, flipped again and attached to the frame. Some added embellishment on the top makes it a perfect piece of bathroom decor as it's protected from the damp! Frog blog link
Buddha - July Colour focus
Every month we have a colour focus challenge over at the lilly pad. We are shown an object for inspiration and it is amazing the different interpretations that come from the froglets. This LO is of my bronze buddha that watches over us from the mantlepiece and I made the background pattern using the funky paisley stamp set (BF do fab paisley stamps!)
Spread your wings and fly
Stamping on acetate for this project. I also made acetate embellisments, the wings are made from funky paisley stamps and the butterflies are flowers from the tropical garden stamp set! Painting with lumieres and some doodling finish the project. Frog blog link
Stained glass Tea lights
Another project stamped without using the acrylic block to create these simple jam jar stained glass tealight holders. A few added embellishments and some glitter and they look really pretty hanging around your garden. Frog blog link
How does your garden grow?
A layout done on a piece of corrugated card using the poor mans crackle technique again but with bright colours. While the top layer of white acrylic was still wet I stamped off images leaving the colours underneath visible. Frog blog link
Heartfelt blooms
These roses are made up of stamped heart shapes! very easy but effective and all different materials can be used. I stamped on scrapbook paper, handmade paper, copier paper, book pages and sheet music. Frog blog link
Little treasure - August colour focus
Inspired by the colour focus item I came up with this tiny treasure box. I already had the wooden box and after painting, sanding and inking it Idecorated it with tiny embellishments I made for mthe make a chain stamp set, one of my favourites. I stamped and coloured he images after embossing them in gold and then added glossy accents. A bit of lace and ribbon finished off my tiny treasure.
An age of elegance
This photo is of my Nanny and her friends on the beach! I have used a chalking tecnique on this piece to create my own papers by first stamping with it's all about elegance stamps with versamark ink then rubbing over the top with chalk. I love the vintage distressed feel of this technique and that I can creat papers to look exactly how I want them. Frog blog link
Too Cute to spook
A layout of my cute niece at halloween. I used acrylic paint in a block to stamp off the paint for the top of my title and the rest of it is embossed and cut out. The embellishments of the house and the tree are from froggie stamp sets too stamped on black with white ink. The papers are Rose Moka and are great for the distressed grungy look.
